My name is Sophie Johnston, and I wasn’t getting enough sleep.
Isn’t it weird that in today’s day and age, we brag about not getting enough sleep?
I used to think I was Superwoman because I could survive off of less than five hours a night, but after a while, you’re stuck on a feedback loop and you don’t realize just how sick you are until you get two days of eight-hour sleep blocks in a row.
Then the world opens up. For me, the first thing I thought of was that my mattress was like sleeping on a rock, and it was one of the main reasons that I didn’t sleep through the night.
I would toss and turn, and the quality of your sleep affects the quantity of your sleep.
I was irritable throughout the day. Lethargic after just getting up.
I was burning myself out. I started looking into getting a new mattress, but I didn’t just want to get what I could afford at the time.
I wanted a luxury night’s rest, so I did some digging, and started looking things up.
Three months later, I saved and after painstaking hundreds of hours of independent research, I finally found the right mattress for me.
Everything changed, and for the first time in a while, I slept through the night. I actually did it.
That’s what I want for you.
There is an alarming number of Americans who just don’t get enough sleep every night, and I’m willing to bet that since you’re reading this, you’re one of them.
I’m here to help educate you and change all of that: here’s to a better night’s sleep.
